This video shows a jaywalker ignoring traffic signs and safe crosswalk procedures. Every year dozens of pedestrians are injured or killed in Las Vegas from jaywalking. With three crosswalks within walking distance this pedestrian chose to ignore safe street crossing. The crosswalk closes to him mandates by law vehicles to stop and yield the right of way to pedestrians in the crosswalk. In Nevada if he was hit by a vehicle while in the crosswalk he or his estate would have recourse to sue for damages.
